(Note: Use 600 for panels with 1000 or 1250-lb. load-rating or 800 for 1500-lb. rating.)
  2. Pedestals
    1. Pedestals shall support floor panels to specified finished floor height. 2. Minimum pedestal assembly adjustment shall be 2".
    2. Minimum pedestal assembly adjustment shall be 2"
      1. Minimum pedestal adjustment increment shall be .025".
      2. Pedestals height adjustment shall be made near the top with no tools required.
    3. Pedestal shall be constructed to prevent axial rotation of head and loss of height adjustment due to vibration or accidental lifting of pedestal head when panels and any attached stringers are removed.
    4. Pedestals assemblies shall be of all steel construction and galvanized. Note: Select Type of Pedestal Head From the Following:
        1. Stringerless System Pedestal head shall be 12-gauge steel and retain panels to prevent movement. A sound-deadening, conductive vinyl pad shall be used on each pedestal head.
        2. Snap-On System Pedestal head shall be 12-gauge steel with stringers snapped on and removed by hand with no tools required.
        3. Bolt-On System Pedestal head shall be 12-gauge galvanized steel with 4 (four) holes to accept 1/4" diameter machine screws to fasten stringers in position.
        4. Corner-Lock System Pedestal head shall be 12-gauge galvanized steel with 4 (four) holes to accept 1/4" diameter machine screws to fasten panels in position.
      2. Pedestal threaded rod shall not be less than 3/4" diameter solid carbon steel with swaged tabs to avoid rotation within Pedestal base tube, and shall be welded to pedestal head.
      3. Pedestal adjustment nut shall have tab to fit over wall of base tube to prevent loss of adjustment due to vibration.
      4. Pedestal base tube shall be 7/8" square x 16-gauge and be welded to base plate.
      5. Pedestal base plate shall not be less than 4" square x 11-gauge.
